π How We Got Here
Every milestone below was built by one 15-year-old, from scratch, with no template.
Platform Goes Live
Neurovascular Dynamic Lab launches publicly on GitHub Pages with full navigation, homepage, and the interactive brain map featuring 12 clickable brain regions.
Firebase Integration Complete
User authentication, cloud-synced quiz scores, and flashcard mastery tracking go live β giving every student a personalised learning dashboard.
Community Launches on Telegram & WhatsApp
The Gideon Reality Telegram channel and WhatsApp group open to students across Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya. First 100 community members reached within weeks.
Quiz & Flashcard System Released
60 questions across three difficulty tiers and 30 flashcards across 5 neuroscience categories are published β with timed quizzes and cloud score saving.
Resource Library Completed
Nine downloadable resources go live: anatomy posters, a full AβZ neuroscience glossary, worksheets, recommended books, and experiment guides.
200+ Students Reached
The platform crosses 200 students across 8+ countries β all organic, zero advertising. Proof that a good idea, built well, travels on its own.
π¬ Student Voices
Real feedback from real students who used this platform to learn neuroscience.
I always thought neuroscience was only for students at big universities abroad. This platform showed me I can start learning right now, from Lagos, with just my phone. The flashcards helped me understand neurons better than any textbook I have seen.
The interactive brain map is incredible. I clicked on the hippocampus and actually understood what it does and which diseases affect it. I used it to prepare for my biology class and my teacher was impressed by how much I knew.
The quiz tiers are very well designed. I started at Beginner and worked my way to Advanced in three weeks. Seeing my score improve on the cloud profile motivated me to keep going. I have recommended this to everyone in my study group.
I want to study medicine and the neurovascular system is something I have always found confusing. The Learn page finally made it click for me. The Pomodoro timer also helped me study for longer without burning out.
What makes this different from YouTube or Wikipedia is that it was built for us β African students who want to go into science. I can feel that the person who built it actually understands what we are going through.
I downloaded the Neuroscience Glossary PDF and it is better than any reference I have found online. Simple, clear, well-organised. I share it with classmates who do not even have internet access most of the time β it works offline.
π Countries We've Reached
No marketing. No budget. Just a platform that students found and shared.
A Note from the Founder
When I launched this platform, I had no guarantee anyone would use it. I built it because I believed it needed to exist β not because anyone asked me to.
Seeing students from Lagos to Nairobi to Accra actually learning on this platform confirms what I always believed: African students are not behind. We have simply been underserved. That changes now.
Every quiz taken, every flashcard flipped, every PDF downloaded is proof that curiosity has no geography. And we are just getting started.
